Directed by Pat Ward June 18, 19, 20 Youth on Stage presents this musical version of the beloved story of Aladdin.  The story unfolds as the royal family decrees the Princess must marry. A long line of Princes young and old line the streets for vie for her hand. Shiek Bahda Bing Bahda Boom will take us to the Market Place where Aladdin, returning from a tubular day on the sand dunes ducks behind a food cart to escape the local constabulary. He is chased by the bumbling Yabba and Dabba as they try to corral the little urchin who they believe is the great banana thief.  The Beautiful Princess Jasmine runs the gamut of the market vendors while looking for her pet Yazoo and accidentally bumps into unaware Aladdin. Aladdin’s Uncle Omar makes the scene and talks Aladdin into finding a cave of riches to be able to impress the Queen and marry the Beautiful Princess Jasmine.  There, Aladdin finds a dirty old Lava Lamp.  Alas he has found the answer to his dreams, the Genii of the Lava Lamp. Has Aladdin found his “lucky break” and be able to win the heart of his “sweet” lady Jasmine? Aladdin pleads Let Me Take You Out Tonight! The answer?  Only the Genii knows.
